The Barneveld Free Library appreciates your interest in becoming a member of the Board of Trustees. The information below will tell you a bit about what we are all about. We welcome the opportunity to have people on our board who wish to contribute to the success of their community!
The Barneveld Free Library Association plays a vital role in our community, serving residents of the Town of Trenton and the surrounding areas. We maintain a diverse collection of resources on our shelves, including fiction and nonfiction books for adults, teens, and children. Our offerings also feature DVDs, eresources such as eBooks, downloadable audiobooks, and videos. Additionally, we provide public computers, 24/7 wireless access, public printing services, and personal assistance from our friendly staff.
Beyond our collection, we offer a wide variety of children’s programs, including story hour and other hands on activities. The library also provides access to historical documents for research and hosts a range of other programs, including book clubs. These are just a few of the services the Barneveld Library delivers to our patrons and the community. With your involvement, we can continue to expand and enhance our support for the residents of Trenton.
We sincerely hope you will consider this opportunity to play an important role in shaping the library’s future by submitting your information sheet (include in your packet) for a position on the Board of Trustees. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through the Library Director.
Sincerely,
Ruth Manning
